This wine is an anthem to Sicily, an ode to the flavors and scents that only this land can offer. Produced in the Belìce Valleys, the Perricone Sicilia DOC by Tenute Orestiadi is a red wine that stands at the pinnacle of the winery's quality pyramid. The harvest takes place manually at the end of August, followed by a controlled-temperature fermentation process and an aging of 8 months in steel and 10 months in the bottle. Visually, the wine presents itself with an intense purple color. On the nose, an aromatic bouquet of red berries mingles with hints of black pepper and Mediterranean spices. On the palate, it is soft, elegant, and fruity, with dense sensations of wild berries and a sumptuous, persistent finish. Ideal for pairings with fresh cheeses, pork ragout macaroni, lamb chops, and Trapani-style rolls.
