TERMS OF SALE – UNITED STATES ADDENDUM (Duties Paid / DDP)

This U.S. Addendum applies to purchases shipped to the United States and supplements our general Terms of Sale. If there is a conflict, this U.S. Addendum controls for U.S. shipments.

1) Legal drinking age

By placing an order, you confirm you are 21+ and that the recipient will be 21+ with valid government-issued ID available at delivery.

2) Delivery conditions (adult signature / ID)

Alcohol shipments require Adult Signature Required and age verification at delivery. If delivery cannot be completed because adult signature/ID is not provided, the shipment may be held or returned to sender.

3) Delivery estimates

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. For U.S. shipments, estimated delivery is typically 14–30 business days from dispatch, and delays may occur due to documentation, customs processes, weather, peak seasons, and carrier operations.

4) Duties Paid (DDP)

We ship Duties Paid (DDP) for U.S. shipments unless explicitly stated otherwise. Import duties and standard customs clearance/brokerage costs are included in the purchase price.

Excluded from DDP and always chargeable to the customer are any extra costs triggered by recipient actions or delivery circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • address corrections, re-routing, rescheduling;

  • storage/hold fees;

  • redelivery fees;

  • refusal-related fees;

  • return-to-sender shipping and handling.

5) Fulfillment and delivery confirmation

An order is considered fulfilled when the carrier records successful delivery (including delivery scan and/or adult signature/age verification where applicable) to the address provided by the customer.

6) Payment disputes / chargebacks (in-transit shipments)

If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated after an order has been dispatched, you acknowledge that the shipment may continue to delivery.

If the carrier confirms delivery, you agree to cooperate in resolving the dispute in good faith, including (where applicable) promptly requesting your card issuer/bank to withdraw/cancel the chargeback so the transaction can be completed correctly.

If a dispute remains open while delivery is completed, we may provide the carrier’s delivery confirmation and related documentation to the payment processor and relevant parties. If the goods are delivered and retained without successful payment, we reserve the right to recover the order amount and any associated delivery/return/recovery costs.

7) Returns and refunds (U.S. shipments)

Due to the regulated nature of alcohol shipments and cross-border logistics:

  • No returns for change of mind once the order has shipped.

  • Claims for damage/leakage/breakage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence.

  • If a shipment is refused/returned, any refund (if applicable) will be net of all shipping and return costs, which can be substantial. If return costs exceed the order value, no refund may be due.

8) Incorrect address / failed delivery / refusal

If delivery fails due to incorrect address, recipient unavailability, or refusal, the customer is responsible for all resulting fees (including return shipping). Reshipment requires payment of applicable costs in advance.

9) Tariff-policy and government clearance delays (U.S. shipments)

You acknowledge that U.S. tariff measures and related customs requirements introduced in 2025 under the Trump administration may increase the likelihood of government-controlled clearance delays (e.g., CBP holds, inspections, or additional documentation requests).
While we ship Duties Paid (DDP) and will pay the applicable duties/tariffs included in our DDP service, we cannot control the timing of customs or government clearance. Delays attributable to tariff-policy changes or CBP/government processing are not caused by us, and we are not responsible for such delays or for outcomes that depend on government or carrier procedures.
