Pizzicanti from Tenute Orestiadi is a sparkling white wine that captures the vitality of Sicily, born from a careful selection of native grapes grown under the sun of the Belice Valley. Vinification begins with gentle pressing, followed by fermentation in stainless steel, preserving the wine's freshness and vibrancy. The natural sparkle is achieved through a controlled refermentation, enhancing its lively, joyful character a true tribute to the Sicilian land. In the glass, it shows a brilliant straw yellow with golden reflections and a fine, delicate mousse. The bouquet is broad, featuring aromas of white flowers, fresh citrus, and a hint of tropical fruit, adding complexity and a refreshing aromatic lift. On the palate, the lively effervescence harmonizes with its balanced structure, offering a pleasant freshness and a subtle minerality that echoes Sicily's volcanic soil. The finish is long, with a slight saline note that invites another sip. Ideal as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with light dishes such as fish carpaccio, seafood, fresh cheeses, and summer salads, adding elegance to any social gathering.
