Elegant Soft Fruity

The Pugnitello Toscana IGT by La Lecciaia is a red wine that embodies the essence of Tuscany. Produced in the Montalcino region, this wine is a true Italian gem.  The aging takes place in oak barrels, adding extraordinary complexity to the wine. On the palate, the wine is structured, with soft and velvety tannins that develop over time. The bouquet is elegant and fruity, with lingering notes that remain on the palate. This wine is ideal for savoring on special occasions, perhaps paired with red meat dishes or aged cheeses.

Fattoria La Lecciaia was founded by Mauro Pacini in 1983 in Montalcino and extends over 60 hectares of which 15 are vineyards. At the beginning of the 2000s the family purchased a further property in Maremma in the Montecucco denomination, and the company was then enriched with another 16 hectares of vineyards. The marvelous main cellar remains that of Montalcino nestled around the Manapetra vineyard from which the precious Cru produced by the company derives. The grapes are best exploited thanks to careful and meticulous care during vinification and the wine is subsequently enriched by years of aging in wood. The result is genuine wines that respect tradition with a modern imprint: structured reds with soft and velvety tannins over time, elegant fruity bouquets and notable and persistent on the palate.
