The Cabernet Codros Lavis is a product of meticulous selection, exemplifying the zonation project's philosophy that has guided the Cantina for over 30 years. This Cabernet Sauvignon originates from the highly suited lands between Lavis and Pressano, areas classic for this varietal. It boasts an intense ruby color, with a complex bouquet featuring balsamic and spice hints, notes of blueberries, mint, cardamom, and subtle vanilla touches. The palate is full and broad, with silky tannins beautifully harmonized with the fruit and a savory acidity, leading to a satisfying and prolonged finish.  It is cultivated on the Pressano hillside, facing west-southwest at an elevation of 380 meters above sea level, in a soil composition that is sandy-clayey, drained, fertile, and deep. The vines are trained in the traditional Trentino pergola system, with a planting density of 5,000 vines per hectare. The vinification process involves manual harvesting around the second decade of October, controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation, and aging in French oak barriques for about 18 months before bottling, followed by at least 10 months of bottle aging. This wine is versatile in pairings, with a pronounced personality that stands out with grilled meat, roasts, and game.
