In the heart of Piedmont, a region that is a veritable treasure trove of oenological gems, the Barolo Rombo by Roberto Sarotto is born. This wine is a tribute to the nobility and complexity of the Nebbiolo grape, cultivated in limestone marl soils that enrich its aromatic and structural profile.
Harvested at the end of September and the beginning of October, this Barolo undergoes meticulous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in oak barrels. The result is a wine with a garnet-red color and orange reflections, a distinctive sign of high-quality Barolos.
On the nose, the Barolo Rombo opens with a rich and enveloping bouquet, where notes of forest fruits, leather, and fine spices emerge, enriched by nuances of rose and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is an explosion of flavors: elegant and well-integrated tannins blend with incisive minerality, giving life to a long and memorable finish.
Characterized by excellent structure, this is a wine that can not only be enjoyed immediately but also has considerable aging potential. It is the ideal companion for rich and structured dishes, such as braised and roasted red meats and game, but can also be an excellent meditation wine.
