The Moscato d'Asti Canelli Pianbello, also known as Pianbè dei Surì, comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Canelli, with an exposure varying from south-east to south-west on purely clay soil. This wine is made exclusively with Moscato grapes, hand-harvested in the last week of September. The winemaking process includes gentle pressing and slow fermentation at low temperatures to achieve 5.5% alcohol, followed by cold stabilization. The wine displays a bright straw-yellow color and a fine, persistent perlage with greenish tints and a fine, creamy foam. Its bouquet is floral and aromatic, with accents of sage and citrus, and a sweet and pleasant taste. It is recommended to pair it with sweets but can also be paired with blue cheeses.
