The Vin santo di Montepulciano DOC from Fattoria del Cerro is a sweet wine that captivates from the first sip. Made exclusively from Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Bianca grapes, this wine follows the Tuscan tradition: after manual harvesting, the grapes are dried on racks in a ventilated environment until they reach the right sugar concentration. The must then matures for 3 years in wooden barrels before being bottled. Organoleptically, the wine presents an amber-yellow color, and on the nose, aromas of peach, apricot, and figs emerge. On the palate, it reveals itself as a dense and sweet wine with a pleasant persistence. This wine is ideal for pairing with traditional Tuscan desserts but also goes perfectly with blue and aged cheeses or foie gras.
