The Barolo Sarmassa DOCG by Virna Borgogno embodies the elegance and complexity of Piedmont. Made from Nebbiolo grapes, this wine undergoes a two-year aging process in large barrels and tonneau, giving it a dense and velvety tannic structure. On the nose, it stands out for its delicate spicy notes, enriched by nuances of violet and rose, followed by light traces of tobacco and cardamom. On the palate, it is a full-bodied wine, agile and saline, with perfectly integrated tannins that make it composed and multifaceted. Ideal for pairings with meat dishes like rabbit or other game-based dishes, this wine is a gastronomic experience that will not disappoint. Perfect for an elegant dinner or a special occasion, Barolo Sarmassa is a wine that speaks to the heart as much as to the palate.
