The Ritratto Rosso Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT from Lavis is a wine that captivates with its depth and complexity. Its intense ruby hue with violet nuances foreshadows a harmonious and rich olfactory bouquet, dominated by ripe red fruits like blackberry, raspberry, and plum. These fruity aromas blend with delicate notes of wilted violets and undertones of coffee roasting, enriched by balsamic aromas. On the palate, the wine is enveloping, balanced, and intense, with a pleasant and elegant tannic note guiding a long persistence. Produced from a blend of Lagrein, Teroldego, and Merlot grapes, the wine is aged in various types of containers, from small 225-liter casks to large wooden barrels, which enhance its unique characteristics. Ideal for pairings with rich stuffed pastas, grilled meats, and game specialties.
