Cinerino Langhe DOC Bianco, a Viognier varietal, mirrors the Rhône Valley's excellence, brought to life by the Abbona family's passion. Cultivated adjacent to the winery, these 20-year-old vines thrive, yielding a wine since 1996. Its vinification involves destemming, skin maceration with CO2, soft pressing, static decantation, and fermentation in acacia barrels with selected yeasts, enhanced by daily bâtonnage until fermentation's end. Malolactic fermentation is omitted, allowing it to mature in acacia barrels before assembly in stainless steel tanks, followed by bottling and resting at a constant 14°C. This Viognier boasts a compelling bouquet of honey, white flowers, and citrus, offering a rich, enveloping palate balanced by exceptional freshness. Ideal as an aperitif or with fish, oysters, risottos, and soft, herb-infused cheeses.
