Vinai have always sold wine. They weren't just merchants, but custodians of a tradition and quality that we've chosen to uphold. With this spirit, we select the finest Italian wines, purchasing them directly from the producers.
By using the term "Borgo," we pay homage to the historic center of Mondovì, our host city. We invested in a venue that we've completely renovated, located in the vibrant, pedestrianized heart of the city—its true "living room." In this context, "Borgo" also evokes a sense of community and belonging, values we hold dear.
And to tie it all together, "Vinai" and "Borgogno" are also the surnames that make up our family. This makes our shop's name not only a distinctive sign of our business, but also a symbol of the personal commitment and passion that fuels everything we do.
In short, "Vinai del Borgo" represents who we are, what we do, and the place we've chosen as our home.

Paul, the founder and cornerstone of TCS Borgogno, has made Italian wine his life's mission. He began his adventure in 1995, after a long stint as Export Manager at a prestigious Italian winery. He began building bridges between Italy and global importers by selecting the finest wines from across Italy. His extensive experience and predilection for fine red wines make him a true master at finding the "right wine" for every palate.
Alongside him, Giovanna, his wife, has embarked on a journey of wine discovery. Once almost teetotal, she now plays an active role in tastings, enriching the experience with her unique perspective.
Piergiorgio is the creative soul of the family and a devotee of excellent, full-bodied reds and whites. Growing up surrounded by bottles and glasses, wine has become an inseparable part of his life, influencing every aspect of his creativity.
Daniele, enterprising and always curious, is the dynamic explorer of innovation at Borgogno. His enthusiasm and energy are contagious, making him an indispensable member of the team.
Finally, Debora is the perfectionist of the group. A lover of sparkling wines and red wines, she manages much of the Enoteca with meticulous attention to detail. She'll welcome you with a warm smile and expert advice when you step foot in our shop.
