Balance of Prestige: Strength and Elegance from Old Vines

De Lozey’s Cuvée Prestige represents the pinnacle of the house’s savoir-faire: a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay sourced from old vines in the Côte des Bar. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel with full malolactic fermentation, it ages first for eight months in tank, then spends six years on lees in bottle. Disgorgement is done just four months before release to preserve freshness and complexity.

Golden in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse, the bouquet reveals white-fleshed fruit, candied citrus, toasted almond, and sweet spice. The palate is rounded and refined, with bright acidity lifting the rich flavors, and a finish that is long and clean.

Perfect as a sophisticated aperitif or alongside refined seafood dishes, white meats, and foie gras. A prestige cuvée made for memorable occasions.

Maison De Lozey – Deep Roots in the Côte des Bar

Founded in 1881 in Celles-sur-Ource, at the heart of the Côte des Bar, Maison De Lozey is now led by Philippe Cheurlin, the fourth generation of the family. The 15-hectare estate is planted mostly with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, plus a small amount of Pinot Blanc. The vineyards lie on Kimmeridgian marl from the Upper Jurassic, imparting a marked mineral character to the wines.

The winemaking philosophy is artisanal and eco-conscious, certified by both Viticulture Durable en Champagne and Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE). Each cuvée reflects sustainable viticulture and terroir-driven winemaking that enhances grape typicity and complexity.

Among its flagship labels are the Brut Tradition, as well as the Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs (100% Pinot Noir) and the Blanc de Blancs (100% Chardonnay), each aged on lees for a minimum of three years.
