Our Enoteca
Why this choice of name? The 'VINAI' were those who traded wine, while 'Borgo' is understood as the central district where the Enoteca is located, in the beautiful city of Mondovì. But that's not all, there's a dual value to the name.
We are a family business, and what better way to take the plunge, if not by including our family surnames? Namely Vinai and Borgogno. And so, no name could be more fitting than 'Vinai del Borgo'.
The staff of Enoteca is our family
Paul, the founder of TCS Borgogno, has been an expert selector of Italian wines for importers around the world since 1995. Born in England but adopted by Italy, Paul possesses a unique personality that combines both worlds, with extensive experience and a passion for great red wines. He has an innate ability to find the perfect wine for every person. His wife Giovanna, initially almost completely teetotal, now actively participates in every tasting, contributing her input. Piergiorgio, a lover of great reds and structured whites, is the creative part of the family. Since he was a child, he has been immersed in the world of wine, and this world is still an integral part of his daily life. Daniele, with great passion and initiative, is always on the lookout for new things and is one of the most active members of the family. Debora, who loves sparkling wines and red wines, is very attentive to details, meticulous and patient. She is responsible for a large part of the management of the Enoteca and will always welcome you in the shop with a smile, giving you the best advice
