The Barolo Lazzarito by Mirafiore is a sublime expression of the Nebbiolo variety, cultivated with passion in the renowned lands of Serralunga d'Alba. This wine, produced from one of the most famous crus in the Langhe and the world, begins its journey in oak barrels ranging from 2,000 to 14,000 liters, where it refines for two years, before continuing aging in the bottle. This meticulous process refines the tannins without excessively increasing the woody note, harmoniously balancing the natural aromas of the grapes with those conferred by the wood. The Barolo Lazzarito presents itself with a ruby red color enriched with garnet nuances, revealing a rich and complex bouquet, where mature notes of plums, tobacco, and mint intertwine, enriched by touches of rosemary, cinnamon, and dried mushrooms. On the palate, the density of finely woven tannins gives a sensation of great structure, accompanied by a softness and balance that seduce the taster. The tasting characteristics of the Barolo Lazzarito reflect the exceptional quality of the vineyards of Serralunga d'Alba, the result of natural factors and the work of generations of winemakers. These wines, known for their robustness and aging potential, offer an intense tasting experience, where the power and harmony of the tannins blend with a lively acidity that promises long persistence. As for gastronomic pairings, the Barolo Lazzarito by Mirafiore pairs splendidly with rich and structured dishes. Red meats, game, and aged cheeses are ideal companions to enhance its gustatory and olfactory nuances. This wine represents an excellent choice for special occasions, capable of providing unforgettable moments to wine lovers.

The story of Casa E. di Mirafiore is deeply intertwined with the very roots of Piedmontese wine and its nobility. Founded in 1878 by Emanuele Alberto Guerrieri, Count of Mirafiore and son of the first King of Italy, the winery is located in the fertile territories of Barolo and Fontanafredda. Emanuele Alberto's vision, an entrepreneur of noble origins, revolutionized the wine world of the time with a modern approach to winemaking and a strong commitment to the community. Recently, Casa E. di Mirafiore has intensified its commitment to sustainability, achieving organic certification in 2018 and celebrating its first certified organic harvest. This orientation was further reinforced in 2022 with the publication of the first Sustainability Report and the acquisition of certifications for sustainable practices in its own 25 hectares in Serralunga, vegan products, and recognition as a "Historical Brand" by the Italian government, a sign of its historic contribution to the oenology of the Langhe, combining tradition and sustainable innovation.
