The Classic Barolo from Borgogno stands out as an icon of winemaking excellence, representing the essence of over two and a half centuries of history, tradition, and dedication to quality. This prestigious wine originates from historic vineyards located in the heart of Barolo, selected to express the elegance and typical power of the region's wines. The intense vinification and aging processes, carried out using traditional methods, impart a distinctive character to this Barolo. Spontaneous fermentation in large cement tanks, followed by long aging in Slavonian oak barrels for at least four years, underscores the commitment to preserving inherited winemaking techniques. The result is a wine with a ruby red color and garnet reflections, enriched by a bouquet of fresh red fruits and spicy nuances. Its structure is supported by pleasant acidity and delicate, sweet tannins, making this wine perfect for enhancing the intense flavors of red meats and game dishes; it also pairs beautifully with aged cheeses and mushroom-rich dishes. Its innate elegance makes it ideal for accompanying traditional Piedmontese recipes like brasato al Barolo, as well as international dishes featuring rich ingredients and deep flavors. This Barolo harmonizes with the complexity of truffle-based dishes, offering a gastronomic experience rich in depth and intensity.

Borgogno is an institution in the wine world, with roots dating back to 1761 in the Langhe region of Piedmont. This historic winery has traversed centuries of Italian wine history, significantly contributing to the development of Barolo, known as the "King of Wines." Cesare Borgogno's innovative vision in the 1920s, which expanded production and began exporting wines abroad, positioned Borgogno as an international reference point in the wine industry. Today, Borgogno manages 39 hectares of land, 31 of which are vineyards, with cultivations ranging from indigenous varieties such as Nebbiolo, the protagonist of their renowned Barolo, to minor varieties such as Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, Riesling, and Timorasso, the latter being the focus of a revitalization project. Borgogno's philosophy, which combines respect for tradition with an eye for sustainability and innovation, is reflected in its wines, appreciated both for their traditional style and long-term aging potential, making them favorites among Italian wine enthusiasts and collectors.
