The Grappa di Barolo by Roberto Sarotto is a distillate of refined elegance, produced in the heart of Piedmont, a historic region for Italian viticulture. Made from Nebbiolo of Barolo pomace, this grappa pays homage to the winemaking tradition of Barolo. The distillation takes place in the prestigious Distilleria Villa Rosati. After distillation, the grappa matures for twelve months in French oak barrels, imparting unique aromatic complexity to the liquor. On the nose, the grappa reveals nuances of nutmeg, licorice, tobacco, and pepper, harmoniously blending with notes of almond, candied fruits, and plums. The palate is enveloped in soft warmth, with a long and persistent finish that evokes shades of cumin. This grappa is ideal as a digestif, a perfect way to conclude a refined dinner or to enjoy a moment of relaxation alone.
