Cantina Socrè

La cantina Socré, con un nome piemontese che significa "zoccolaio", ha iniziato la sua storia nel 1869 quando il bisnonno degli attuali proprietari ha acquistato un terreno a Barbaresco. All'inizio, la maggior parte delle uve venivano vendute ai contadini, mentre solo una piccola percentuale veniva utilizzata per la vinificazione e per il consumo familiare. Nel 1958, il padre e il nonno degli attuali proprietari rinnovarono il vigneto, aumentando il numero di ceppi di Nebbiolo. A partire dal 1990, il figlio Marco e i nipoti Giulio e Lorenzo espansero l'azienda con nuove vigne nelle Langhe, ad Alba e nell'Astigiano a Cisterna d'Asti. Oggi, la cantina dispone di circa tre ettari di vigne di Nebbiolo nella parte alta del crù Roncaglie e ha creato di recente un Alta Langa distintivo grazie al Pinot Nero. Ogni bottiglia è parte di una produzione limitata e unica in grado di stupire i palati anche più esigenti.
