Monte Zovo's Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2005 is a wine that has passed through the years with elegance and grace. Its ruby red color has now turned to garnet, a sign of its long aging process. On the nose, notes of dried fruit, leather and a hint of wet earth emerge, a complexity that only a well-aged wine can offer. In the mouth, it is like a warm and enveloping embrace, with flavors of ripe red fruits, tobacco and a hint of vanilla. It is the ideal companion for an intimate evening, especially if combined with rich dishes such as braised meats or mature cheeses.
