The Barbaresco produced by Marziano Abbona is a distinctive symbol of the Langhe, made from Nebbiolo grapes grown to the North-East of Alba. Since its first production in 1996, it has been the perfect synthesis of power and elegance, masterfully balancing significance and conviviality. Its winemaking follows a natural process, with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation through the use of indigenous yeasts, in steel containers. This is followed by a period of aging in oak barrels, which further enhances its personality. Visually, the wine is distinguished by its garnet red color, with ruby highlights that turn to orange as it ages. Taste-wise, it offers a soft and enveloping sensation, with fine tannins and aromatic notes of ripe red fruits and a touch of sweet spices. Its well-balanced acidity adds a pleasant freshness, giving the wine a timeless elegance. Excellent with structured main courses and cheeses, but also perfect as a contemplative wine.
