The Traminer Aromatico from Forchir, is a wine that is an ode to refinement and elegance. Produced through sustainable methods, this wine pays homage to the Friulian vineyards where the grape blend grows. The color is a bright straw yellow, as if trying to capture the Friuli sunlight in every drop. On the nose, it's an explosion of scents: notes of rose, lychee, and a hint of exotic spices transport you to a blooming oriental garden. On the palate, the wine is an enveloping embrace of fruity and floral flavors, balanced by a minerality that gives it a well-defined structure. Despite its complexity, it's incredibly approachable, with a medium body and a lingering finish that leaves an aftertaste of white-fleshed fruit and a slight hint of ginger. This wine is an ideal companion for a candlelit romantic dinner. Imagine pairing it with a seafood risotto dish or a delicate tuna tartare. But don't stop there; it's equally sublime with blue cheeses or foie gras.
