Pinot Nero “Séiro” – Roberto Sarotto
Pinot Nero “Seiro” by Roberto Sarotto takes its name from Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, symbolizing a wine of luminous elegance. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it reflects the varietal’s refined character in a Piedmontese interpretation.
Vinification is carried out through fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature, followed by a short ageing in large oak casks. This choice preserves fruit purity while softening the tannic texture and adding subtle depth.
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red color. The bouquet is vivid and precise, offering red berries, crisp cherry, and fresh violets, with delicate touches of cocoa and light spice from oak ageing. On the palate, it is smooth and harmonious, with fine-grained tannins and lively freshness that drive a clean, flowing sip, leading to an elegant, lightly spiced finish.
“Seiro” is a Pinot Noir of immediate charm, perfect as a conversation wine or for refined dining occasions. It pairs beautifully with herb-roasted poultry, tagliolini with mushrooms, light vitello tonnato, or smoked salmon.
Why try it: this wine combines freshness and approachability with a distinctive, polished style, delivering balance and elegance in every glass.
