The Barbaresco Nervo Vigna Giaia Riserva DOCG by Piazzo is a wine that tells a story—the story of Piedmont's land and passion for viticulture. This wine is like a warm, enveloping hug, thanks to its soft structure and well-balanced tannins. On the nose, you'll detect notes of ripe red fruits, leather, and a touch of vanilla, blending into a complex and captivating bouquet. On the palate, the wine is a sensory journey: notes of cherry, plum, and a hint of black pepper mix in a long and persistent finish. Wood aging adds a touch of elegance and complexity, making this Barbaresco a work of enological art made by the terroir the cru "Nervo" and in particular of the vineyard "Giaia". Perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering among friends, this wine is ideal for pairing with red meat dishes or aged cheeses.

The Piazzo Comm. Armando winery was founded in the 1960s by Armando Piazzo and Gemma Veglia in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, a hamlet in the municipality of Alba. To date, the company can count on 70 hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Mango, Neviglie, Guarene and Novello. The winemaking philosophy respects tradition especially for the production of Barolo and Barbaresco but with particular attention to cleanliness and innovation. In the cellar, the effort is at its maximum to make the most of the raw material, fruit of the sacrifices and work carried out in the vineyard. The wines produced are the soul of the territory, they stand out for their perfumed bouquets on the nose, with great body and structure but balanced and elegant on the palate.
