The Alta Langa DOCG Riserva Blanc de Blanc Pas Dosé is a sublime expression of Chardonnay, grown in vineyards perched between 500 and 580 meters above sea level, where southeast to southwest exposures frame a landscape of rare beauty. With an average age of 13 years, the vineyards stretch over stony soil enriched with sand on a marly base, bearing witness to a vinification that celebrates the unique minerality of the soil. The manual harvest in early September precedes an alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures, with part of the must resting in 500-liter French oak tonneaux and the rest in steel, then maturing in the bottle on lees for at least 65 months. This process endows the wine with timeless complexity, enhancing the expression of the grape variety and the minerality of the land. Tasting reveals an intensely bright straw-yellow color, traversed by a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet unveils aromas of flowers and yeast, with notes of toasted bread crust and flint, enriched by fresh salty and mineral nuances. On the palate, it offers rich fullness and remarkable persistence, supported by a fresh acidity that, along with the finest effervescence, makes this wine an ideal companion for a wide range of dishes.
