Marchesale is a bold and elegant Bolgheri Superiore DOC red wine from Terre del Marchesato, crafted from a refined Bordolese blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot.
Grapes are carefully selected from the estate’s top vineyards. Fermented in steel with extended maceration, the wine matures in French oak barriques (new and used) and is bottle-aged to achieve perfect harmony and depth.
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red color. The nose is intense and layered: blackberry, blackcurrant, violet, and lavender, with balsamic hints of mint, black pepper, and refined notes of tobacco and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and powerful, with velvety tannins, lively acidity, and a long, spicy-fruity finish.
Ideal with grilled meats, game, aged cheeses, and hearty pasta dishes. Marchesale is a Bolgheri red wine that elevates any important dinner or celebration.
