Villa Russiz’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a refined take on this classic grape, grown in marl-rich soils of Collio. Diverse vineyard exposures enhance aromatic complexity and ripeness.
Hand-harvested grapes undergo 15 days of skin contact fermentation, followed by 12–15 months aging in oak and another 5 in bottle. The result is a structured yet elegant red, deep in color and layered in aroma.
Expect initial herbal notes that evolve into refined spice and earthy depth. On the palate, it’s smooth and enveloping, with a balanced acidity and polished tannins.
Ideal with grilled red meats, pork tenderloin in fruit-based sauces, and hearty pasta dishes. A versatile red that elevates both special meals and everyday dining.
