The history of Casa E. di Mirafiore is deeply intertwined with the very roots of Piedmont winemaking and its nobility. Founded in 1878 by Emanuele Alberto Guerrieri, Count of Mirafiore and son of the first King of Italy, the winery is located in the fertile territories of Barolo and Fontanafredda. The vision of Emanuele Alberto, an agricultural entrepreneur of noble origins, revolutionized the wine world of the time with a modern approach to wine production and a strong commitment to the community. Recently, Casa E. di Mirafiore has intensified its commitment to sustainability, achieving organic certification in 2018 and celebrating the first certified organic harvest. This orientation was strengthened in 2022 with the publication of the first Sustainability Report and the acquisition of certifications for sustainable practices on its 25 hectares of property in Serralunga, vegan products and recognition as a "Historical Brand" by the Italian government, a sign of its historic contribution to the winemaking of the Langhe, combining tradition and sustainable innovation.

After a long experience in the wine world, Paul Borgogno founded Borgogno Wines Selections in 1994, with the goal of selecting high-quality Italian wines for foreign markets. In 2021, we opened a new chapter with the launch of Vinai del Borgo Enoteca Mondovi (Cuneo in Langhe). Located in the historic center of Breo, near the Langhe, in the heart of Piedmont, the enoteca serves as a meeting point between tradition and innovation. Today, Vinai del Borgo serves customers in Italy, the EU, and the USA, further expanding our reach through our Online Shop. We have just launched our 'Friends with Wine Benefits Program,' allowing our customers to earn free wine by introducing us to their friends and fellow wine enthusiasts.
