The Barolo from Mirafiore, originating from the prestigious vineyards of Serralunga d'Alba, is an exceptional example of oenological mastery, enriched by tradition and innovation. This wine is a tribute to the Nebbiolo variety, from which it is born in purity, revealing a robust and structured character destined to evolve beautifully over time. The aging process, carried out in medium and large oak barrels for two years, followed by a further period of refinement in the bottle, gives this Barolo an unparalleled complexity and tannic finesse. Its chromatic hue, a garnet red enriched with ruby reflections that delicately turn to orange over the years, is just the beginning of an unparalleled sensory journey. On the nose, the Barolo Mirafiore unfolds an intensely defined bouquet, where nuances of vanilla and spices stand out, enriched by tones of dried roses and underbrush. These olfactory impressions perfectly intertwine with hints of red fruit, black licorice, and a spicy touch of nutmeg and laurel, culminating in an olfactory experience of extraordinary richness. On the palate, it reveals all its majestic structure, with powerful yet harmonious tannins, balanced by an acidity that promises longevity. The taste is dry but velvety, full and incredibly persistent, offering a long and fascinating finish, marked by a freshness that invites reflection. This wine is the ideal accompaniment for rich and structured dishes, such as roasted or braised red meats, mushroom and truffle-based dishes, and aged cheeses, where the complexity of flavors and the robustness of the tannins enhance each other, creating an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

The story of Casa E. di Mirafiore is deeply intertwined with the very roots of Piedmontese wine and its nobility. Founded in 1878 by Emanuele Alberto Guerrieri, Count of Mirafiore and son of the first King of Italy, the winery is located in the fertile territories of Barolo and Fontanafredda. Emanuele Alberto's vision, an entrepreneur of noble origins, revolutionized the wine world of the time with a modern approach to winemaking and a strong commitment to the community. Recently, Casa E. di Mirafiore has intensified its commitment to sustainability, achieving organic certification in 2018 and celebrating its first certified organic harvest. This orientation was further reinforced in 2022 with the publication of the first Sustainability Report and the acquisition of certifications for sustainable practices in its own 25 hectares in Serralunga, vegan products, and recognition as a "Historical Brand" by the Italian government, a sign of its historic contribution to the oenology of the Langhe, combining tradition and sustainable innovation.
