The Montefalco Sagrantino Passito DOCG  by Còlpetrone is a wine that enchants with its enveloping sweetness and powerful tannins. Produced following traditional methods, the grapes are left to dry to concentrate the sugars, before being pressed and fermented. Maturation takes place in large oak barrels for six months, giving the wine an aromatic complexity that ranges from ripe fruit to sweet spices and coffee. Despite its sweetness, the wine is never cloying, thanks to the balance provided by the tannins. Ideal for pairings with aged cheeses or dark chocolate, it is a true gem to be savored on special occasions.
