The Ciliegiolo Maremma Toscana Tenuta Aquilaia DOC by Uggiano is a wine that captivates with its aromatic generosity. Named after the Italian for "little cherry," this wine lives up to its name with enticing aromas of ripe black cherry and warm spices, enriched by a hint of black pepper. The palate is enveloped by soft tannins that accompany flavors of blackberry and plum, culminating in a lightly savory and fresh finish. Produced with controlled fermentation at 26°C and maceration on the skins for 15 days, the wine is then refined in stainless steel for 8 months. Ideal for a candlelit romantic dinner or an evening with friends, it pairs beautifully with red meat dishes and aged cheeses.

The Uggiano farm was founded in 1976 in Scandicci in the hamlet of San Vincenzo a Torri, in the heart of Chiati dei Colli Fiorentini, from the idea of a group of entrepreneurs from Bergamo who were passionate about Tuscan wines.
The vineyards, located at an altitude that varies between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, are cultivated with respect for the environment and the ecosystem to obtain the grapes in the most natural way possible. In the cellar we work in such a way as to respect as much as possible the characterization of the territory and to have wines of the utmost excellence capable of representing the best enology of the Florentine hills.
