The Alta Langa
The “Andrea” Alta Langa Extra Brut by Ivaldi Dario is a classic-method sparkling wine crafted from Chardonnay grapes grown in the picturesque Monferrato hills of Piedmont. After a gentle pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle, with the wine aging on the lees for approximately 30 months, resulting in finesse and complexity.
In the glass, it boasts a bright straw-yellow color with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it reveals aromas of fresh butter, fine pastry, and delicate white flowers. The palate is creamy and full, with a subtle effervescence. Its compact and tense structure leads to a zesty, citrusy finish.
Perfectly pairs with creamy pasta dishes, vegetable soufflés, or baked fish. An excellent choice for special occasions or sophisticated meals.

The estate spans 12 hectares of vineyards, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site, nestled on calcareous and clay-rich hills, perfect for cultivating Barbera. Additional varieties include Freisa, Chardonnay, Favorita, and Moscato d’Asti. Hand-harvested grapes are vinified using traditional methods, with wines aging in cement tanks and French oak barrels to achieve complexity and elegance. Flagship wines include Alta Langa Extra Brut, Barbera d’Asti, Moscato d’Asti, and Brachetto d’Acqui, each reflecting the authenticity of the region. The winery welcomes visitors for tastings and guided tours, offering a unique immersion into the enological culture of Monferrato.
