The Leo Ripano Offida Rosso is a creation from the Cantina dei Colli Ripani, emblematic of the courage and tradition of Ripatransone. This wine is a blend of Montepulciano and Cabernet-Sauvignon, handpicked in October from the most suitable micro-zones of the Ripatransone municipality. The vinification process involves a long maceration with the skins for 20-25 days, followed by délestage and gentle pressing, which allows the extraction of intense flavors and tannic structures. The wine then matures in barriques for 18 months, with a further 6 months of bottle refinement. With an intense ruby red color, it opens on the nose with aromas of red fruits and spices, enriched with warm notes of chocolate and vanilla. On the palate, it is robust, with a substantial body and well-calibrated tannins that bring balance and harmony. Ideal with grilled meats and aged cheeses, Leo Ripano carries the character and epic nature of the lion, the fierce and proud guardian of Ripatransone.
