The Barbaresco Pajorè Magnum from Cantina Piazzo is a true expression of the Nebbiolo grape's elegance and complexity. This wine displays a captivating garnet red color with subtle ruby reflections. The nose is greeted with a harmonious bouquet of ripe red cherries, plums, dried roses, and hints of sweet spices, licorice, and a touch of tobacco.

On the palate, this Barbaresco is refined and powerful, boasting a well-structured body with velvety tannins that provide a smooth yet firm texture. The vibrant acidity balances the wine's richness, leading to a long, persistent finish. Flavors of dark berries, truffle, and a hint of oak create a harmonious and memorable tasting experience.

Crafted from Nebbiolo grapes grown on the calcareous soils of the Pajorè vineyard, this Barbaresco undergoes meticulous vinification. The grapes are handpicked and carefully sorted before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 9 months in small oak barrels, followed by additional refinement in the bottle, ensuring its complexity and elegance.

The Barbaresco Pajorè Magnum pairs beautifully with hearty meat dishes such as braised beef, lamb chops, and game. It also complements aged cheeses and rich pasta dishes, making it a perfect choice for a sophisticated dining experience.

Cantina Piazzo, with its dedication to tradition and quality, has crafted this Barbaresco Pajorè to reflect the unique terroir of the Pajorè vineyard. Each bottle is a celebration of the vineyard’s heritage and the meticulous care taken in its production.

The Piazzo Comm. Armando winery was founded in the 1960s by Armando Piazzo and Gemma Veglia in San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, a hamlet in the Municipality of Alba. To date, the company can count on 70 hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Mango, Neviglie, Guarene and Novello. The winemaking philosophy respects tradition especially for the production of Barolo and Barbaresco but with particular attention to cleanliness and innovation. In the cellar, the effort is at its maximum to make the most of the raw material, fruit of the sacrifices and work carried out in the vineyard. The wines produced are the soul of the territory, they stand out for their perfumed bouquets on the nose, with great body and structure but balanced and elegant on the palate.
