Rosato Alpi Retiche Cerasum Caven IGT 2020 - Pietro Nera

Born from the skilled craftsmanship of oenologist Stefano Nera, the Rosato Alpi Retiche Cerasum Caven IGT is an ode to Valtellina. This wine is the result of a careful selection of Nebbiolo grapes, grown on the unique terraces of the province of Sondrio. Winemaking is an art here: the grapes are destemmed and crushed, and the skins remain in contact with the must for about 15 hours, giving the wine a vibrant pink color that evokes the color of cherries. Fermentation lasts six days, followed by a period of spontaneous decanting for a month. The result is a wine with an intoxicating aroma of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry, and a frank and decisive taste, with a light tannic note and remarkable sapidity. Ideal for summer aperitifs, but also perfect for any meal.
