Piemonte Rosato DOC "Flores" – Roberto Sarotto

A rosé unlike any other in Italy: Piemonte Rosato DOC “Flores” by Roberto Sarotto is the only still DOC rosé wine with a naturally low alcohol level under 8%, made without dealcoholization or added water.

Crafted entirely from Pinot Noir grapes harvested early to boost acidity and limit sugar, the wine undergoes a short skin contact for gentle color and aroma extraction. Fermentation is carefully halted, preserving a small amount of natural grape sugar. After microfiltration, the wine rests at low temperature in stainless steel to lock in freshness.

In the glass, it shows a bright pale pink hue. Aromas of strawberry, pomegranate, and delicate white flowers emerge, with a subtle herbal note. The palate is crisp, refreshing, and harmoniously balanced, with gentle fruit sweetness, lively acidity, and a soft mineral finish.

Ideal for relaxed outdoor settings, brunches, picnics, or paired with light dishes such as seafood, salads, or white meats. “Flores” offers a unique and natural rosé experience—light in alcohol, full in character.

The Winery Roberto Sarotto

The Roberto Sarotto winery is located in Piedmont, in the heart of the Langhe, in Neviglie near the city of Alba. The company can count on 90 hectares of property in the most prestigious production areas of Piedmont, located in different areas: Ronconuovo (Neviglie) where the main vinification and bottling cellar is also located; Novello, Barolo, Neive, Mango. In Gavi, on the other hand, there is a Cortese winery for the production of Gavi from the municipality of Gavi.
The philosophy of the cellar is particularly aimed at the needs of final consumers. The combination of tradition and modern winemaking techniques, together with the care of the vineyard, brings to light a balanced and pleasant wine in compliance with environmental sustainability.
