Born from the hills of Piedmont, the Barolo Turnè DOCG by Silvio Grasso is an ode to Langhe winemaking tradition specifically La Morra. Its production follows traditional methods, with fermentation in stainless steel followed by aging in oak barrels. At first glance, the wine presents itself with an intense ruby red color, almost as if it wants to tell the stories of the lands from which it comes. On the nose, you perceive notes of red fruits, spices, and a slight hint of tobacco—a bouquet that blends into unparalleled olfactory harmony. In the mouth, the tannins are elegant and well-balanced, giving life to a medium-to-full-bodied wine with a long and persistent finish. This wine has considerable aging potential, making it an investment for the future as much as a delight for the present. For a complete gastronomic experience, pair it with robust dishes like braised meats, roasts, or aged cheeses. Imagine enjoying it on an autumn evening, in front of a fireplace, in good company.

The Silvio Grasso company was founded in 1927 but it was only in the mid-1980s that Alessio Federico began to bottle the entire production. Now the La Morra winery manages 14 hectares of which 6 are owned but Alessio is supported by his wife Marilena and his sons Paolo and Silvio. The company focus remains on Barolo in the various crus but also Nebbiolo and Langhe Rosso as well as Barbera d'Alba are to be considered wines of excellence that combine the rich and prestigious territory of the Langhe and in particular of the La Morra area with a capable personal style to surprise even the finest palate.
