Gewürztraminer Clinga Trentino DOC 2020 - Lavis

The Gewürztraminer Clinga Trentino DOC from Lavis is an aromatic white wine that embodies the excellence of the typical zones where these vines grow. The color is a golden straw-yellow. On the nose, you'll find delicately aromatic tones, with hints of rose hip and citrus scents of cedar and lime, leading to a background tone of ginger. On the palate, the wine is fully flavored, with energetic notes of yellow flowers and acacia honey defining an elegant and complex taste. The acidity lingers in a tense and lasting finish. The winemaking process involves manual harvesting in late September, 8-hour cryomaceration, soft pressing, fermentation in stainless steel tanks and French oak barriques, and aging on the lees for 10-12 months before bottling. It pairs wonderfully with any kind of shellfish, white meats, and baked cheese.
