Borgogno's Langhe Bompè, a pride of the Borgogno house, is a 100% Barbera wine that originates from the hills of Madonna di Como in the Langhe region, boasting an east to southwest exposure between 410 and 425 meters above sea level. This privileged position ensures optimal ripening thanks to sun exposure from morning to evening, on soil composed of clayey and chalky lands rich in minerals. The planting density reaches 4,000 vines per hectare, with harvest taking place towards the end of September. Borgogno's winemaking tradition, which dates back to 1761, is fully expressed in this wine, with vinification that respects classical methods: spontaneous fermentation in cement vats for about 10 days at a temperature ranging from 22 to 28°C, followed by one year of aging in large slightly toasted French oak barrels. This process gives Langhe Bompè its distinctive structure and aromatic profile, with a ruby red color enriched with violet reflections and a concentration of aromas of red berry fruit and forest fruits, accentuated by smoky notes and a marked salinity on the palate.

Borgogno is an institution in the wine world, with roots dating back to 1761 in the Langhe region of Piedmont. This historic winery has traversed centuries of Italian wine history, significantly contributing to the development of Barolo, known as the "King of Wines." Cesare Borgogno's innovative vision in the 1920s, which expanded production and began exporting wines abroad, positioned Borgogno as an international reference point in the wine industry. Today, Borgogno manages 39 hectares of land, 31 of which are vineyards, with cultivations ranging from indigenous varieties such as Nebbiolo, the protagonist of their renowned Barolo, to minor varieties such as Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa, Riesling, and Timorasso, the latter being the focus of a revitalization project. Borgogno's philosophy, which combines respect for tradition with an eye for sustainability and innovation, is reflected in its wines, appreciated both for their traditional style and long-term aging potential, making them favorites among Italian wine enthusiasts and collectors.
