Borgogno's White Vermouth Superior emerges from an ancient tradition, encapsulating the essence of 37 different extracts including roots, leaves, flowers, seeds, and fruits, macerated in alcohol for at least two months. This symphony of ingredients ranges from vanilla to cloves, from gentian to rhubarb, culminating in more exotic notes such as sandalwood and cardamom. At the heart of this flavored beverage lies cinchona, extracted from the bark of Cinchona trees, used in three distinct varieties: Calisaya, Soccimano, and Soccirubra, blended with sugar, alcohol, and wine. The base of this Vermouth is Cortese wine, which imparts fresh citrusy notes of orange, lemon, and grapefruit, making it ideal as an aperitif, refreshing drink, or cocktail base.
