Gladius Bianco dei Colli di Luni – Cantine Federici
A Genuine Taste of Liguria
Gladius Bianco dei Colli di Luni is a harmonious blend of Vermentino, Albarola, Malvasia, and Trebbiano, all traditional grapes from the hills of Luni. Hand-harvested grapes, soft pressing, and controlled fermentation in stainless steel precede a 15- to 30-day ageing on fine lees, enhancing the wine’s complexity and structure.
It displays a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose is clean and intense, offering aromas of ripe peach, citrus, and white flowers like jasmine. The taste is fresh and savory, with a persistent finish that mirrors the bouquet.
Excellent with seafood, shellfish, aged cheeses, and cured meats. Its versatility makes it perfect for summer lunches or elegant dinners. Gladius captures the Ligurian soul with clarity and balance.
Recommended for: summer lunches, seafood dinners, aperitifs with cured meats and cheeses.

The Winery Federici - Baia del Sole
The Federici family boasts a long farming tradition since the early 1900s, but it only made a name for itself in the world of wine in 1985, when an old farmhouse on the Luni plain was revaluated. It was decided to plant only native vines and to make Vermentino its flagship wine. To date, thanks to the most modern winemaking techniques and the deepest respect for the territory and the vineyard, fine and elegant wines are obtained such as Vermentino (also Vermentino Nero vinified in rosé) and local reds capable of surprising even the most demanding palates.
