The Bonarda Frizzante Oltrepò Pavese DOC by Isimbarda embodies the essence of Lombardy, particularly the Santa Giuletta area. Made from Croatina grapes, this wine is a hymn to tradition and innovation. Refined in steel, the wine presents itself with a garnet red color enriched by violet reflections. The nose perceives notes of violet, raspberry, and jam. The mouth is enveloped by a liveliness and freshness that make it irresistible. Ideal for a summer aperitif or as a companion to meat dishes. The Isimbarda winery owes its name to the ancient family of the Marquises Isimbardi, feudal lords of the Santa Giulietta estate in the 17th century. The cellar is located in Casteggio in Oltrepo' Pavese and covers 36 hectares with vineyards in the municipalities of Santa Giulietta and Mornico Losana. The company production is varied and ranges from Riesling Renano to the vinification of Pinot Noir, Bonarda and Barbera up to the Oltrepo' Pavese Classic Method. The Isimbarda Company is undergoing a biological conversion and its objective is to allow its wines to best express the character and quality of the Oltrepo' Pavese area.
