In the heart of Liguria, precisely in Ortonovo, the Federici winery stands as a flag-bearer of winemaking tradition. Their Vermentino Colli di Luni Solaris DOC is a hymn to elegance and territoriality. Produced with carefully selected Vermentino grapes, this wine is a masterpiece of balance and finesse.Visually, the wine presents itself with a golden hue that immediately catches the eye. On the nose, floral and citrus notes are perceived, a bouquet that evokes the scents of the Mediterranean scrub. In the mouth, the wine is dry, with a structure that expertly balances acidity and softness, leaving a persistent and pleasantly mineral aftertaste. The winemaking takes place in steel, a detail that helps preserve the integrity and freshness of the grapes. And while it is the blend that grows in the Ortonovo vineyards, it is in the glass that this wine reaches its maximum expression. For a complete gastronomic experience, I suggest pairing this Vermentino with fish dishes, such as baked sea bass or fried paranza. It is also an ideal companion for light appetizers and summer salads.

The Federici family boasts a long farming tradition since the early 1900s, but it only made a name for itself in the world of wine in 1985, when an old farmhouse on the Luni plain was revaluated. It was decided to plant only native vines and to make Vermentino its flagship wine. To date, thanks to the most modern winemaking techniques and the deepest respect for the territory and the vineyard, fine and elegant wines are obtained such as Vermentino (also Vermentino Nero vinified in rosé) and local reds capable of surprising even the most demanding palates.
