The Enrico I Langhe Rosso DOC by Roberto Sarotto is a wine that enchants you from the first sip. Produced in the hills of Piedmont, this red wine is an ode to Italian winemaking tradition. The color is a deep ruby red that promises an enveloping drink. On the nose, you'll perceive notes of ripe red fruits, delicate spices, and a touch of vanilla, thanks to its wood aging. In the mouth, the wine is round, with soft tannins making it incredibly drinkable. Despite its youth, it shows good aging potential. Ideal for a romantic candlelit dinner, it pairs perfectly with red meat dishes and aged cheeses.

The Roberto Sarotto winery is located in Piedmont, in the heart of the Langhe, in Neviglie near the city of Alba. The company can count on 90 hectares of property in the most prestigious production areas of Piedmont, located in different areas: Ronconuovo (Neviglie) where the main vinification and bottling cellar is also located; Novello, Barolo, Neive, Mango. In Gavi, on the other hand, there is a Cortese winery for the production of Gavi from the municipality of Gavi.
The philosophy of the cellar is particularly aimed at the needs of final consumers. The combination of tradition and modern winemaking techniques, together with the care of the vineyard, brings to light a balanced and pleasant wine in compliance with environmental sustainability.

What is the perfect match for Enrico I Langhe Rosso DOC - Roberto Sarotto ?

This wine pairs well with sumptuous and intense dishes, such as a baked veal shank with potatoes and rosemary, pici with Cinta Senese sauce, or a jugged hare with celeriac puree. It is also excellent with a Maremma-style wild boar or a guinea fowl stuffed with chestnuts and plums. A 36-month Parmigiano Reggiano or a Blu di Bufala authoritatively close the journey.
