The Marzemino from Lavis is a winemaking jewel of Trentino, capturing the authentic spirit of Vallagarina with the native Marzemino grape from the region. This red wine stands out for its intense ruby red color with delicate violet reflections, hinting at its complexity and finesse. It opens with a rich and varied bouquet, where berry notes intertwine with soft violet essences, creating a seductive olfactory experience. On the palate, Marzemino from Lavis is balanced and inviting, with a soft and velvety texture that caresses the palate. Its elegant tannic structure highlights its quality, ensuring a harmonious and pleasantly persistent sip. The production follows careful traditional methods, with hand-picked grapes followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation occurs in vitrified cement tanks, while aging on the lees for 5-6 months combines the use of vitrified cement tanks and second-use barriques to further enrich the wine's flavor profile. This wine is an ideal companion for a wide range of dishes, perfectly pairing with roasted white meats, traditional dishes like polenta and mushrooms, or a classic steak tartare, where its structure and aromatic complexity can truly shine.
