Aldone Merlot – Terre del Marchesato
Aldone is a pure Merlot crafted from a historic vineyard planted in 1954 by Aldo Fuselli, founder of Terre del Marchesato. It captures the depth of Bolgheri’s land and the value of legacy. Hand-harvested grapes undergo controlled fermentation and mature for 18 months in new French oak barriques, gaining richness and depth.
Deep ruby red in color, it opens with a complex bouquet of ripe cherries, dried figs, black olives, and subtle balsamic nuances. The palate reveals soft tannins, fine balance, and a lingering finish with echoes of red fruit and sweet spices.
A structured and elegant red wine, ideal with grilled red meats, hearty roasts, and aged cheeses. Made for meaningful occasions and refined dinners.
