The Lagrein Greggi Trentino DOC from Lavis is a wine that embodies the essence of the Avisio hills. Produced with Lagrein grapes grown in the hills of Pressano and Sorni, this wine stands out for its concentrated ruby color that almost touches black. On the nose, it opens with fragrant aromas of blueberries, black currants, and black cherries, enriched by light shades of ink. In the mouth, it is full, decisive, balanced, and juicy, with an enveloping structure and a deep, persistent finish. The winemaking process involves traditional maceration with light pumping over and delicate punching down. Part of the wine rests in small French oak barrels and part in large wooden barrels, for at least 30 months before bottling. Ideal for pairings with roast lamb and kid, as well as stewed and braised meats, this wine is a true gem for lovers of typicity and elegance.
