Designed by Farfalli, an Italian company established in 1950 by Marino Farfalli, it is renowned for its durability and practicality. The handle is made from a single block of orange aluminum, ensuring exceptional durability without additional joints. Its aluminum construction offers a comfortable and secure grip. A distinctive feature of the Farfalli Orange XL is its patented Farfalli DLS double lever system, which makes cork extraction easier and without damaging it. It comes equipped with a serrated blade made of AISI 420 stainless steel for cutting foil and a cap opener for maximum versatility. The AISI 420 stainless steel used in the corkscrew is a martensitic stainless steel with high carbon content (0.15%) and chromium (12-14%), offering excellent corrosion resistance and hardness between 52 and 55 HRC.
