Mercantino Offida DOCG Pecorino, a wine that sings the tradition and art of viticulture of the Marche region, is akin to a work of Luigi Mercantini in a bottle. The Pecorino grapes are carefully handpicked and delicately processed, beginning with a gentle pressing followed by thermo-conditioned fermentation in stainless steel tanks, isolated from oxygen and in close contact with fine lees for extended periods. This method enhances the purity and freshness of the fruit, displaying a bright straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The bouquet is rich and refined, with elegant notes of melon, mango, and citrus flowers. On the palate, the vibrancy of fresh fruit dominates, accompanied by exuberant salinity and a well-balanced acidity, leading to a long and harmonious finish. Perfectly paired with roasted fish or soft cheeses, Mercantino invites you to journey through the stories and cultures of a region rich in traditions.

Founded on the cooperation of small winemakers, this cellar is located in the picturesque hills of Ripatransone, where the winemaking tradition intertwines inseparably with the local culture and history. Since its inception, Cantina dei Colli Ripani has embraced sustainable and innovative practices to best valorize native grapes, such as Montepulciano and Passerina, alongside international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon. This approach ensures high-quality wines that fully express the unique terroir of this area. Winemaking is carried out with cutting-edge technologies, while still maintaining a strong connection to traditional methods that respect the natural rhythm of the vines. The result is wines that tell stories of land, climate, and human dedication.
