La Galleana is a Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG that embodies the essence of the area winemaking, a wine that delivers both power and elegance in every sip. Produced by Cantina Sociale Barbera dei Sei Castelli, it originates in the heart of Monferrato, a land devoted to Barbera. Here, the perfect balance of calcareous-clay soils, ideal altitudes, and southwest and southeast exposures ensures optimal grape ripening. The vinification process follows a traditional approach, featuring careful fermentation and nearly a year of aging in French Oak Barriques, which imparts complexity and aromatic depth. In the glass, La Galleana displays a deep ruby red color, hinting at its expressive richness.
