Riesling Renano Superiore Vigna Martina Oltrepo' Pavese DOC 2020 - Isimbarda

The Riesling Renano Superiore Vigna Martina Oltrepò Pavese DOC by Isimbanda is a wine that enchants from the first sip. Produced in Santa Giuletta in OltrePò Pavese, this wine is a pure example of how the Riesling (Rhenein) grape can express itself at the highest level also in Italy. The grapes come from the Vigna Martina vineyard and only steel is used to obtain a fresh and direct wine. The wine shows off a bright greenish yellow color while on the nose, notes of white pulp fruit and wild flowers are perceived, while on the palate it stands out for its freshness and minerality that is increasingly evident with the passage of time. Ideal for an outdoor lunch, it pairs beautifully with fish dishes or fresh salads. The Isimbarda winery owes its name to the ancient family of the Marquises Isimbardi, feudal lords of the Santa Giulietta estate in the 17th century. The cellar is located in Casteggio in Oltrepo' Pavese and covers 36 hectares with vineyards in the municipalities of Santa Giulietta and Mornico Losana. The company production is varied and ranges from Riesling Renano to the vinification of Pinot Noir, Bonarda and Barbera up to the Oltrepo' Pavese Classic Method. The Isimbarda Company is undergoing a biological conversion and its objective is to allow its wines to best express the character and quality of the Oltrepo' Pavese area.
